The Met Cloisters and Hasselblad: Documenting the Fuentidueña Apse by Drone

Hasselblad as well as DJI teamed up with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in the high-resolution photographic paperwork of the exterior of the Fuentidueña Apse, a 12th-century limestone framework at The Met Cloisters in New York City. This was completed by using the Hasselblad A6D-100c aerial camera and DJI M600 Pro UAV. The resulting 100-megapixel photos will sustain a condition survey of the apse, which concerned The Met Cloisters from a church in Fuentidueña, Spain, in 1958. This is the very first time The Met has used drone modern technology for this objective.
