Splash splash…

Splash splash…
Two weeks post luxating patella surgery (tibial crest transposition & groove deepening) Riley is on the underwater treadmill with Michelle from Dogs In Motion Canine Rehabilitation strengthening her wasted muscles so that she can one day dash…

It’s amazing to be part of and see…
This little girl that was so chronically disabled by her breathing and constantly luxating knees…
Just two weeks post op….
Already walking and breathing so much better and knowing that she has been given another shot…
At living a normal undisabled life that she has never known…
All thanks to Pug Rescue and specialists, vets, volunteers and our supporters who enable us to do what we do whilst our pugs are in our foster homes…

Riley has lots of physio to come…
And still her other knee to fix at Southpaws Specialty Surgery for Animals before she will be free to run…
But she is already wagging her puggy tail and saying thanks everyone….

Riley is yet another pug that we have spent $4,000+ on in X-rays, dental, airway surgery, luxating patella surgery. She still requires approx $2,000 more in discounted specialist surgery to correct her other painful luxating patella.
